Hi Guys

I bought a number of 4s 2650mAh 30C Lipos for an aerobatic model I have and I would like to buy an EDF jet that would use these batteries too!

Any suggestions??

FYI ...Experience and speed is not an issue for me.

Last year I bought my dad that has 45 years exp in flying cubs and other high winged AC a SAPPAC JAS-39 He is using the same packs you have. Wow what a stable plane. Its pretty big and easy to see. Its a litle to large for him to hand launch at 77 so he uses a bungee and loves it. It will easily hand launch though. I bought it for him at Pinnical Hobbies and Im sure they still have another. I got the one with the motor and Esc installed. Sorry I dont know the Kv but I would bet its around 3500kv with an 80amp esc.

The Phase 3 would make an excellent first EDF. This kit has interested me for a while but I've held off. If you like it and want another EDF, then a composite kit would be a good second choice. HET have some nice kits. Most of them are polyester based fuses. The finish on them is not as nice as the new HET epoxy F-86. The QC is sometimes not the best either. I received a sniper with a bent vert fin and my Het F-104 has the same issue. Anyone selling the Phase 3 in Canada?

FYI

I checked the shipping for a Phase 3 from Hobby People. Ground shipping(USPS) was $43US(to me in Ontario), Fed ex was $120US and Fed Ex priority was $150US. Ouch!!. That would be about $180 cnd after exchange plus tax and process fee. Hi-Flight, one of RCCanada's advertisers have the phase 3 for $181Cnd plus GST and DHL shipping. They are in stock and you would have it very soon as compared to the slow mail service from the USPS. I like to shop in Canada and the one from Hi-Flight would be my choice. I may pay a few dollars more but the ease of doing business with a Canadian retailer is worth it. Just my 2 cents.

I like the look of the Phase 3 they also sell the one for the 3s packs pretty cheap wonder if there any good? as I have a bunch of 3s kicking around
