I would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who attended our swap meet this year.
Many of you travelled some distance to attend.

I want to Thank Thunderbolt RC for making the 5+ hour drive from the Windsor area to be part of our event.
Another Thank You for the Downsview Air Space Museum, and all the other businesses that attended: Pinnacle Hobbies, Azure Hobbies, PRC Models.
It is greatly appreciated.

I would also like to appologize for the address confusion. It won't happen again.

Please keep us in mind for next season as we have already begun the planning process for next years Event.
Next years event promises to be even bigger and have more for everyone to see.

Thank You

Brad- I had a great time.

It was fun to see some old friends I haven't seen in years. It was also fun to see all the neat stuff for sale. I got some great stuff for me and my kids, and I kept my large purchases down to JUST 1 AIRPLANE THIS YEAR...LOL. It's a real beaut and the price was unbelievable. That's what swap meets are for!

Pinnacle had so much stuff there and the prices were better than you would normally get from their shop. That alone was worth the trip for many of the guys that bought from their booth!

Next year will be bigger and better for sure!

Two members from the Simcoe RC Club left with smiles on their faces.

Great swap meet and well organized. Nice to shake hands with people I don't see very often. Lots of bargains to be had.

I usually just buy pieces, parts and tools. This year I ended up with a used plane which is unusual for me.

Thanks to the Aurora Club!

Brad,

That was a great swap meet and well worth the drive from Chalk River:)

It was great to see the support from the local businesses.

Winning the Great Planes Escapade donated by Pinnacle Hobbies was the icing on the cake!

I look forward to next year.

Thanks!!

Hi Brad ; Great job again from your club guys & gals. The food was great too.

Google maps showed exactly where the venue was and now everyone knows exactly where it is for next year. ;-) LOL I hope you continue going there.

This was the best swap you have had since I've been going and the others were good too.
Next to London this swap was the best around here this year.

The other thing you should mention is the size of the tables. I had one table . I thought they would be 8 footers for the price. I would have got a second one if I'd known they were only 6 feet long.

I should have asked anyhow. ;-(

I met many guys I know there and had a great time. I even picked up a couple of items I didn't expect to find there from the Hobby Shops that were there.

This was a great surpise too.I even received a couple of discound coupons for the Wings & Wheels Show coming up at the Canadian Air & Space Museum .

2 thumbs up !

I had a great time... Once I found out where it was! I was all set to be dissapointed until I started driving around and looking for lots of cars and a parade of reprobate type people all heading in the same direction. Found 'em too!

The best part of any swap meet for me is meeting up with fellow modellers I have not seen in a while.
