a fun jet to fly.a little short on the speed but a good learning one.2 flights on it and still in one piece. not a bad deal for $165 out the door.

Nice Groundcrew,
You can always put something hotter in there after to hit that sound barrier
I've got the 70mm one with a hoffman magnetics fan/motor.

I have got the same one to maiden as soon as the weather turns nice! Anybody try opening up the battery compartment to hold a larger battery? I want to fly it with a 2200mah 3S, but they make the battery compartment sooo ridiculously small!

blade i see $99 from hobbyking + $47 shipping to canada.never the less a fun get to fly.

max i was thinking the same thing but to put a bigger battery in there you would have to remove the nose wheel completly of cut the canopy off and do some diggin. i dont think i would want to put a 2200 past that nose wheel, way to nose heavy
the stock battery is only rated at 20c so running it full open most of the time gives you slow to moderate speeds.maybe a 25 to 30 c ratting would help.

mike you read my mind. its already in the works for upgrade motor and fan.

Thanks. To be honest I havent had a chance to dig inside it to see if it was do-able yet. I dont think I will be flying it with the wheels, so the nose-gear issue is not going to be a problem, but like you, I was worried about CG. Nice weather is coming, so It's going to have to be addressed in the next few weeks.
Thanks~!
