F16/mirage 2000 update forsale maybe?

Finally my replacement motor/fan came from eflite due to the bearings that went on the brand new motor. They sent me a replacement BL 15 3600kv motor and Delta V15 fan priority shipping. Talk about customer service probally the best I have seen in the RC industry so far.

So it will be airbourn tommorow.


Also my new arc 3665-1 motor finally made it here from lightflightrc.com and matched with the wemo midi pro 90mm fan, it should be a good flying weekend.

this weekend? Probally just in the field. There is a bunch of little kids in the neighbourhood that like to come out and watch and learn about planes.

Just put the midi fan on the balancer today to check it lol. You dont even want to see the video. lets say they failed on this one.

yea just a tad. I have them tell me its the balancer/shaft etc but that video shows the obvious that the plastic is warped/ out of round.

You can see it in the main body of the fan and also the blades.

I have the same balancer and I found one of the holes, in the jam piece, was not quite centered. I would rotate one of the jam pieces and I would get a different balance point:-(.

The Midi Pro comes pre balanced. I wouldn't try to mess with it by adding any weight. Assemble the fan and try a run on the bench. Use a 3s or 4s bat to check if a problem exists.

Ya I know they come factory balanced but just wanted to check. That is when I noticed that it was out of round.

Man this f-16 of mine is nothing but a nightmare. The new eflite setup with the 60 amp esc, delta v15 fan and the BL15 3600kv motor Get stupid hot! So hot it melted the glue holding the ESC down.

Found this very odd since its there exact setup 4s that they recomend.

Anyone want to buy it lol?
