Well money's been tight(everybody's been there) having
to sell some A/C on rcc .
Being an awesome friend,Jeremy offered to buy my (highly modified)eflite hawk to help me out.
I politely declined, as it's my only opperational jet at the moment.
And proceeded to tell him it'll stay till it "BITES THE DUST"..... that was yesterday, well guess what happened today???
My little video cam was onboard too and STILL works amazingly as it's right in the students seat, and was still recording after the crash but the impact must have let the memory go or something? because i tried to upload the vid and there was no new files found :(
I don't know what happened but suspect a loose crystal or connection to my rx.
It was cutting out when i first plugged my lipo in, so i checked ALL connections and tried pushing the crystal in and still did it so i tracked it down to a loose(non existant)connection right at the deans negative side of my 4cell
So i put the xps 5s in and fired it up, wiggled things, and tested....all good so I taxied out and took off, proceeded to make a right hand bank to altitude which i usually come 180 back parallel the road.
It leveled the wings at the 90 degrees and slowly pointed the nose down and buried itself in the field all gracefull like.
As i was probably looking like a monkey freekin out once it started to level the wings without me telling it to.:confused
If you've ever seen the video of one of our 155's sucking up that seagull on take off ? It was a carbon copy of what happened minus the bird and the pilots puching out.
