I have been thinking that a AN2 would make a great big scale project for some time now, 30 to 50cc gasser, should be a big floater...

there are lots of 3 views online, but you gotta really look for 'em

Antonio, I emailed four drawings to you. They are too big to post here, and I have a few more bits and pieces if they are not enough.

Hey Dave, if it's not too much trouble, could you email me a set of those drawings? I have a fair bit of referance material for the AN2, but always could use more...one of these days I'll get around to designing and building one.

They are GIF files and perhaps you don't have software that opens them. I can easily convert them to JPG (they end up MUCH larger for some reason) or PDF and resend them. Name your poison.

Nice pictures! What an aircraft!
To bad we can't import them into Canada for commercial use, they'd give the dhc products a run for their money!!

Actually, it's Polish. There were about 15,000 AN-2's built in Poland vs about 2500 in Russia.

You can try Russian site rcdesign.ru Some of that guys spoke English pretty well and they know much more then I about AN-2. This is link to rcdesign forum, model drawings: http://forum.rcdesign.ru/f7/

Be careful with this plane. The good idea to built plane with minimum 2m wingspan and 40cc gas engine. If you try to built smaller plane, you will have problem with center of gravity. AN-2 has too short nose.
