Slash 4x4 motor questions

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone can confirm a different 550 size can will bolt directly into the slash 4x4 and, what is the shaft size of the VXL motor (ie 3mm)?

just measured mine and the shaft is 3mm, as to 550 bolt up I had no issues taking my Losi brushless from my eight t and stuffing it in just to rip the tires off mine
