Wanted Plans for RCM/Bidi Trainer 40-AKA Trainer JR
This is the 52" span one for a 40 size engine. I also would like the 60 size one that is 58" span called the RCM Trainer AKA Trainer 60.
Both were designed by Joe Bridi with help from Don Dewey. Both have a thick symmetrical air foil.
Rob.

Hi Rob, I have been flying several great planes trainer 60's for 25 years. They are based on the RCM trainer 60 and have a 66 span. For a trainer they are quite aerobatic.

HI Ron,
Yes they are surprisingly aerobatic for a trainer. I just noticed that the RCM plans site now calls the 58" one the Advanced Trainer not the trainer 60 anymore. The resemblance between the Great Plane product and the Joe Bridi original comes from the fact that Great Planes bought out a Bridi company and got some of his designs as a result. sadly most of them they no longer make.
My Plans for the trainer 40 are over 40 years old and have become brittle and come apart.
