up for sale is my savage flux xl. all it needs is batteries and your own remote system.

some info on this:
i got this in a trade as a savage XL. since then i converted it into a flux and bought the FLM savage flux XL tvp's. even though im the second person to own this i have took it apart 2 times so i know all about this so there wont be any surprises.

first with the "minor" issues: the front bumper needs to be replaced (screw broke inside so its being held in by zip-ties), and the body is in rough shape. other than that its good!


info on the goods :) :

HPI Torq (castle motor) motor
Hobby King 150A ESC
Hobby King Program card
Integy Rear aluminum hubs (reduces play in the rear axles)
FLM XL Flux TVP's
FLM Hardened Middle rear drive shaft.
Bullet-Proof Rear Differential (the front is the stock XL differential. since it hasnt broke it doesnt need replacing)
OFNA SX-0002 Servo
HPI Hardened servo saver spring.
HPI Wheely bar.
it still has the wider wheel stance the XL has as well :yo:
Terra Pins for wheels
extra parts like arms, hub carriers etc


i may be forgetting some stuff also.

sorry for an early bump but the accucel charger and the dx2s have been sold so they cannot be added into the deal. just my truck is left.

$400 OBO! the motor has only seen 5 packs and the esc one pack so they are fairly new.

continuous power input on a mamba monster esc is 120 amps...dont know the burst....
this esc will rock 6s as well, it may even do it with more room overhead for amperage.

Hey yes as fubar said it will definitly handle 6s. I ran 6s in series with 2x 3s nano turnigy lipos 4500mah with 35(?) To 70c and the esc basically stayed at idle temp no strain at all!

Great deal and nice set-up you did on the conversion.
I was curious to know,...... I have the same truck with the 5.9 in it and it works pretty nicely....... have you any comparisons, to the before and after. Faster top end, low end, etc. Or just the fun factor 0-10 before and after!

hey thanks!!

with nitro you have the fun with the tinkering with the needles and such with the engine. the speed is ok for a huge MT but once you put that brushless system in there you will never put that engine back in, trust me! the speed and the insane jumps is just way too fun! im actually surprised it was here for this long actually. but it has sold and hopefully that buyer will have loads of fun with it. when the spring comes along im getting myself another flux xl :P

nitro fun factor: 6.5/10
BL fun factor: 9.5/10 (reason for .5 is because if you hit the throttle at the wrong time you'll blow the diffs)
