ok for lack of a better word I chose wobble . I lift off with my new built quad and it wobbles and of course the more you try to correct the more it does it. Now I assume it is a gyro setting thing. I have a 600 mm frame running 750 kv motors with 9.5x5x3 blades I am using a gaui GU -344 controller with the green wire hooked up(that means I have 2 flight modes and gain settings radio operated)For a starting point Gaui recommends that you start at 50% for either setting and adjust accordingly. My question is do I go up/higher in value or down/lower in value. Thanks in advance for info :help:

Seems to me that when i had my GU my starting point was at 70 but that was on the 330..Regardless You cant go wrong by experimenting both ways.Just keep altitude low ;)

The book now says 50% to start both Cruise and hover now, went on the net another guy said twenty nine% well that didn't work . So I then read your post xv townboy and it was better, bumped it a little more but then it got to windy to fly. Well without it set up right atleast

I have that controller on my Gaui 330XS and it doesnt wobble. Couldn't be the quality of the ESC and or motors? If it wants a bit mor on one motor and the ESC is not responding smoothly or motoris jerking, you will have a problem. If you remove the blades, and hold the quad, do you feel smooth transitions when you move the quad so very slightly? Hold it on a flt surface and raise one arm at a time...

Well we got this tamed down a bit but then run into ESC problem so waiting for two sets as I am in the middle of another build. This one I will be using a Quadrino board from Mark at Flitelab(great guy to deal with and super fast shipping). Got an item in the mail yesterday greatest invention since sliced bread or the wheel. Well for a Quad builder atleast. I had to build as many of you have a way of powering all ESC's at the same time. well a bit of work this can be done . Needed aux. power for lights (11.1volts not 5v) again it can be done. Well after all is said and done you have a fair chunk of wires. Not if you have one of these though
