My New Old Toy

Just picked this up, Its a 1940 New Ruler. I think I will go electric with this one. Was hoping I could save the old blow up rubber tires but I can't the inflation tubes have hardened up. Plane is very light and weights in at just over 2 pounds and it will make a good electric conversion. Will keep posted with project.

When I last looked for them, Trexler inflatable wheels like that were still available. Not cheap though. Ask around, Charles.

Thanks Cedric, Stevens Aeromodel carries them.I need the 3" wheels & they cost $27.00 not too bad a price.
