There were a couple at a flying demo I was at yesterday, looked like a lot of fun.

well it came on thursday today is friday and it's hard to slow down to take pics
do it when the glue drys you say, but ahhh there is the other peice overthere that has dried and needs my attention
so on i go....honey are you coming to bed
umm yup be right there!.......tick....tick....tock

ok that part is ready
hmmmmm well that glue is still good so i might as well mount the ....no no
i should go to bed after all i have to get up in 4 hrs :roll:

So what is the end cost?

A few of us lookied at them at the LHS awhile ago.

Plane was about $100, motor.speed control $55 Microservos $35/each, Hitec 555 receiver $110, batterypack about $40 (won't talk about field charger, etc)

Is this about right or is this off base?

You're right on the money Nuker. The only thing I would change is the receiver. I can usually get a 4 channel GWS NARO (FM narrow band) with crystal for about $70.00. Battery packs are pre-made and sell for $27.50 for 7 cells and $30.00 for an 8 cell pack. Quick field chargers range from $79.00 and up at most hobby stores that deal in electric aircraft (Hobby-Lobby). All prices above are in Canadian funds.

yes, sorry things are busy for me
it is an awesome plane......i went with a stock setup
and am very pleased
i will post pics as soon as you tell me how lol
i feel like another is in my future.......

hmmm whats that a f4u corsair would be challenge ...why yes ken it would round out the collection nicely....and that twin stang....he he
