There is no "WHAMMY" bar on a Yahama accoustic to do "WHO" Unless Jim knows how. He's always the innovator. Besides, I can't jump as high as him at a campsite. Probably land in the fire.Yeowwww! If it's in Ajax, I'm in. Can ya fly there too?Where is Ajax anyway?
My new G38 just came in. Time to pretend I know how to build.Got a date tonite too Chris.......gotta put on someone "CASEY'S' ----- Lure"....that smell that brings on the swine.

yup, you can fly at the Ajax RC Field, so long as you have MAAC and bring donuts :)

Hey Crew: Some body from the "Ajax" club or area should set a date, say in July, and a bunch of us flyer/musicians could have a "ball", the more the merrier. I'd have to travel from the "Sault", but I have a Son in Kitchener, who picks and grins a little and is a member of the Hespeller club.I could make a vacation of it! Maybe we can coax Andrew into comming down? It sure would be nice to meet you fellows face to face instead of "just on the Forum"... :) Lets put a little thought into it! :P

Set something up a Bondar Pavillion, fly off the St Mary's River
could even be international in flavour

How about a RCCanada Pickin and a Grinnin Week End fun fly open to all members of RCCanada and anyone else who cares to make the trip. Could even make it an annual thing and move it around give everyone a chance to host it. In the early years Dave Henshaw came up with an idea called West Trek. He started heading west for the Nats or something and people joined him as he traveled to it and they stopped and flew at different places on the way.

Let's see,

from the Ajax front we have Jim McIntyre, Jim Moss, Derrick, Fodder aka Scott, Sholtz and myself. I believe it was Jim Mc. who brought all this up, maybe we should get him to organize it

Where ever it is, I'm sure as heck interested.

Whomever arranges this,

If a hand is needed, let me know. I'll lend a helping hand if needed. :D Don't know how much help I can be in Orangeville  but I'll do what i can. Maybe I'll find Ronnie's buddy, "the cat killing fiddle player" :D :D

It goes like this.....the first "Annual Catcrawl Jamboree Fly-In" held this June in Ajax. Musicians and flyers. Public welcome. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds go to charity. Now if Shania Twain could fly R/C. The possibilities are endless.

Shania would be there, but probably couldn't perform due to all the drool on the stage from Ronnie :D :D
Ronnie couldn't play, cause he'd inadvertantly tied them in a knot whilst........., AND he couldn't fly cause he's all dehydrated from drooling so much!!!
Might wanna just keep it to the RC Flyers. :D

"I'm gonna getcha gonna getcha real GOOD!!" I'd travel on my hands and knees thru broken glass from here to Ajax just to see her..$#%%.......#%$.%^%$.........play my guitar.Whew. Gotta go build my snowbird. By the way Chris, John M. flew Snowbird 5 and it flew great til he landed hard and tumbled in front of the TV crew. We got 3 built and 3 half built. Gonna try the formation thing. Stay tuned. All .46's in the tail.

Maybe we should change the name of the Ajax Field to the Woodstock Field.

Woodstock June 2003 Ajax Ontario.

Sheez, I take a day off work and the hicks all show up.
Shania Twain is nice to look at but, I wouldn't want to have to listen to her 'caterwallin' all night.

A whammy bar on an acoustic... hmmnnn... I generally just bend the neck.. but a little time in the shop and I might be able to fit a Kahler on my Ibanez.... 8)

Ok, I'll take this to the exec (although I see some of them are already here) and see if I can't reserve some time at the field next year....

Some of us can type.

As a matter of fact, I spent my day restoring my Ultimate. She's been parked in a lonely corner of the workshop for several years now... a victim of plastic covering and associated fuel seepage. :(

Planecrazy: Jim is online so much because he is doing "research" for internet security or something like that.
