Sure Bob leave it up to me, to put out the "good news" :?
To be honest I don't know what you would class this plane as "ARF ?" because there is less building involved in this airplane than most "ARFs" or"bARFs" as the unnamed person refers to them as
But yes he did buy one :!:
Jim Moss :)
Did I mention his initials are the same as mine

LOL and here just not too long ago he was a major player in an ARF topic on RCU, I guess that thread must have convinced him :)

Yeah but you can't help but be disappointed with this "instant gratification" generation he seems to belong to now

Jim,
whatever do you mean.
First of all, you "told" me nothing.
Second, I mentioned no names, neither did Mr. Moss
Third, if the shoe fits

It's not an ARF, it's a scratch built... it's just that I didnt build it.
A weak moment combined with a desire for something that flies relatively straight (tired of the 3D Funfly types) a need for something that fits in my Civic (for when the wife has the van) and the fact that my workbenches are full of mega hour projects. 8)
Besided, I had money in my pocket, there were planes for sale and the only kit for sale was an Eagle 2.
At least I'm relatively sure the wing halfs won't part company like your last ARF.

Wings won't part? I wouldn't put that in writing just yet
My wife's arf (the one that died) is being rebuilt for my daughter next year. I'n scratching a new wing, for the most part. Fuse is already done. Then again, I not said anything bad about arf's; someone else did
so.......how many wings would this not-an-ARf have??

There you go, thinking everyone is as "flight challenged" (have to be politically correct with Derrick) as you.
