How exactly do I go about this? I dont understand what to click on or what to send to my friends?

No Prob Andrew,
When you go to the contest page, (click on the banner on the front page) if you are logged into the boards, it will show you a link in the test box like this one:

http://www.rccanada.ca/index.php?rf=**

where ** will be replaced by a number. This is the link you want to send to your friends, club mates, etc...

I still cant seem to find my referral link. All I get is a small box?

Jason, I can't figure this thing out either. I go to the page with the link and my name as a referal but then can't figure out what to do next. Do I simply sent the page with the info as a link to my friends? I clicked on the banner at the top and it took me to the Bolly page. Is this what my friends would do when I send them this link or page and I get the credit???

Sorry it's so confusing guys.
When you click on the contest link, if you are logged into the boards, you will see this:

The link you need to copy and send to your friends, club mates...
is circled in red (but not this one....cause this one was generated with my username)

It works. I tried clicking on it a number of times expecting it to be highlited like a URL in the address bar but nothing happened so I figured I was doing something wrong. I went looking on other parts of the page for the solution. Anyway it now works.

Thanks for the help. All I got was a small box with no actual link or anything in the box. Just the little box about 4mm square!

Can you help me out here. When I click the banner for Bolly Prop contest it take me to a page which says,
My referer link:

You must be registered and logged in to get your referer link
Register Login
Ok, I am logged in and am not able to click on the referer link. I am not too swift on the computer. It's probably me, I sure appreciate your help. Thanks.

HI Frank,
No prob. The link that is given to you in the text box is the link you want to copy and send to your friends. When they use tah link to come to RCCanada, the system will pick up that it was referred by you and increment your total.
You won't be able to click on it. Try copying it into your browser's address bar and gitting enter. Then check your count on the leader board. :D

Are we (and others) allowed just once to use the link, or once per day?

HI Andrew,
You, or other users can use the link as many times a day as you wish, but the system will only record 1 hit per user per day. It was built this way to discourage people from padding their results by hitting the link many times a day.
