I want to try electric flight so I I just bought a GWS Pico Stick and micro flight pack. I haven't assembled the plane yet but looking at the kit, both the foam rudder and elevator are detached from the fin and stab and nowhere in the instruction manual does it mention hinging these.
Anyone in else have that problem? and how did you solve it? I'm thinking of some kind of tape. Any suggestions?

Dan, Mine were one piece on my pico fuse plane but I will check on the pico stick I just got in trade. I am on my way home for lunch and will get back to you soon...
I would think some vinyl or packing tape will do fine on one side only. So little loads on these models...

Hi Dan,
They are supposed to be attached to the fin and stab, but they actually work better if you detach them and hinge them with strips of the clear decal material they supply. You will have a lot more freedom of movement and response. These are fun little planes. Have fun.
