You guys....
I dont know Chris, under $100 for a running 4 stroke is a steal and a half and not too likely unless you can get a fixer upper and do the work yourself. Good luck, though.

Hey its possible. I once bought a box of about 11 engines on ebay, and sold them all except a Saito 80 that needed a good cleaning but otherwise was like new inside. I still am flying that engine, which actually cost me nothing since I made money selling the other 10 engines :)
Hey, I also bought a RUNNING Webra T4-40 in Toledo this year for, get this... $20!!! Yes, the bargains are there but rare...

Chris, if you dont have any money to buy an engine than DONT waste mine and others time asking for one, getting us to send pictures only to state you cant afford it. :? Not good...

I had money but I do stuff within the time of making a post I don't just sit around waiting for someone to send pics because I can do what i want with my money and my time and so can everyone else do what they want with their money and time and if you decide to not send pics right away or atleast the same day then people shouldn't be mad if someone changes their mind on what they are going to do with their money or stuff. And if someone gets a better deal then they will most likely go with that over the other one. Which means that they can't afford both soo they go for the better one. Getting pics sent and someone sayting they have found something else is apart of selling and buying.

Chris,
If you look at your "history" in the wanted forums, you will see as many of us do, that you have a HABIT (yes, it happened a few times before) of making deals then not carrying them through. When you are actively looking to buy something, its only proper that you are 100% serious about buyin the item, and not just wasting peoples time.
Look, I am not upset becuause you didnt buymy engine. I just paid a guy $60 for that engine and I was going to sell it to you for $40 becuase I know what kind of position I was in when I was 13 and had not too much $$ for the hobby. But, I can also conclude you dont really have the cash to buy any engine right now, or maybe you do whatever, but just like to fish around.
My advice is this: when you have "x" number of dollars THEN and ONLY then go shopping here for a deal. I am sure many of us will try and help you out, but if you keep doing this (crying wolf) then eventually NO one will want to try and help you. Thats not a good place to be.
Please dont start anything on line with me, I am unsubscribing to this thread.... :?

Chris, My Hobby budget is very limited. I do have some nice stuff though. Being that I.m a stay at home dad with 2 children under the age of soon to be 4. I have to make my few hobby dollars go a fair distance. My secret is That I saved my pennies and bought a band saw. I got really good at useing it then started selling little projects in the local the local crafters stores, craft shows and finally I have made a deal with the local folk art teacher to have her buy her projects exclusively from me. Not alot of business but enough to outfit a full woodworking shop in my garage and allow me some nice planes and support equipement. You don't need all the money in the world for this hobby but you do need to make wise desicions in life. I to once had a gentleman like Andrew offer me an engine that I knew he paid alot more than he offered it to me. Come to think of it I was about 13 too. Harry just wanted to help out a youngster just getting into the hobby just like yourself. I paid $40 for a brand new kb .40 dual ball bearing engine with a couple of props and a spinner. Alotof money for a 13 year old with a paper route but I saved every penny. Anyways long story short, The hobby community is stretch over many miles and even countried but we all seem to meet every know and again. IF I could give you one piece of advise, you are young, PLEASE don't burn your bridges this young in your life. As you are young I'm sure that you are still a valued member on this board and in your local club. Eyes ears and ears open open and you will learn alot in your lifetime.
Regards Dave.
