Breaking in a new engine - Any tips?

:( I bought a gms .47 and the instructions are pretty poor for breaking it in. It is the first new engine I've had.
Does anyone have some simple, fool-proof advice?

I've found OS engines have straightforward instructions.

Just look at any of the fx series for break in instructions
