Hi gang:
I've built a CL-415 twin couple of years back and it's been sitting lacking a pair of engines. I would like to keep things contained within the turbine cowls and I've been wondering if any manufacturer makes a rear exhaust engine that would allow the pipe to come back through the nacelle's.
I've looked through Tower hobbies and Great Hobbies web sites, but nothing jumps out at me.
Any suggestions? Price is a factor.
thanks, terry.

I am pretty sure the MVVS engines can (you have to pick before break in) be run as side OR rear exhaust by rotating the cylinder. A neat feature.
Doesnt Rossi still make a rear exhaust 40 to 50?
The Jett fire line are expensive but excellent engines. I have a 46 but its worth 3X the cost of an OS or similar...
What about making up some custom headers that would wrap around the engine and exhaust out the back? I bet I could make them up for a side exhaust engine pretty easily...

Andrew, I might just take you up on that offer for a project I'll be working on in the future. Won't be for a while yet though.

I would go with the MVVS .40 .45 or .49 you can rotate the exhause to any direction (even in front) prior to break-in and all you need is a customer header for a scale exhaust that would look great. Post pic's of your project when your done
