OK Balsa Woodstock looks like it's a go and I saw a post from nuker that he plays golf on sundays before going to the field and it got me wondering how many others play golf?
Perhaps we could have The RC Canada Open, golf tourney? Hey how about RC stuff as prizes!!! :D :D
What do you think?

Good One - but like golf, you get to see more of the country side.

Good One - but like golf, you get to see more of the country side. And at least you ussually can find your plaine in the rough.... golf balls seem to always get swallowed by mother nature or maybe golf balls have a camealeon nature to them and adapt to their surroundings just becoming camouflaged!
Anyway looks like most people want to go fly a kite so we might as well forget it :( :( :(
Oh!!!! Randy no descrimination... as long as your wheelchair has "soft spike" tyres! :D :D

Too bad, could have been fun. Although, I haven't had my clubs out for about 4 years now. Hey, that is about the time I started flying.
The Jim Jim competition could have been taken to an entirely new level.
Nuker, you're awful quiet here :!:

If i was coming to balsa woodstock, I'd be a yes for the golf for sure. I'm about a 10 handicap and love the sport. Like any other activity, there's nothing better than challenging YOURSELF to improve. I look at my flying the same way. Always want to get better and be better every time out.
You know...there's a nice little 12 hole, Par 3 course just a couple of miles from the field.....
It's called Fox Run, and it's on Highway 4, just east of Brock.
....If you're interested....
