Kewl,
I'd be a bit worried about orientation. I flew with my Raptor canopy done similarly and had a few panic moments... that;s why I added more of the stock markings....

Thanks for the comments! Jim, I thought about that, I have flown all white canopys in thw winter before   I don't really find it hard to see, but only time will tell, Next time I get out to the LHS I'll get something more colourful though, its a little boreing right now.

Same as it did in the first 2 pictures, problem is paint wont stick to rappy canopies.

I hear the only way to get eh paint to stay on Rappy canopies is to coat them in thin CA first....

Nuker is trying a relatively new paint "Fusion" from Krylon I think that is supposed be very good on bare plastic. Where is the report Bob. :?:

crylon fusion works good on plastic but isnt however fuel proof....

Then all you need is a fuel proof clear coat, I thought about painting the canopy but I don't want to have to put up with chipping and scratching.

The Fusion paint stuck just fine without a primer coat but as stated, it sure ain't fuel proof. 15% affected the finish. I have a flexible clear coat for cars but the label says it doesn't like an ingredient that is in Fusion.
I'll try more with my plastic scraps hpoefully this weekend
Bob
I remember seeing somewhere recently, maybe one of the magazines, a new product that you spray on right before painting to make the paint stick to certain plastics.
Somebody watching this thread will probably know what I'm talking about.

I know that flexible auto primer can be used (normally used for those 'plastic' bumpers we all have now) and it does work; just requires lots of coats of the final paint to cover properly. Could that be what you are referring to?
