what are some good quality tricks it can do... i can do tailslides and torque rolls(when im lucky) and once even a torqueroll tailslide but thats just a fluke, does anyone know of any really good manouvers this thing can do?

Jason,
Last summer I flew my Pizazz with a saito 80. I had a few dozen flights before the winter hit (I didnt get it untill Sept.) and then this year I only flew it a few times, due to my RCV 58 breaking and having to get sent for service twice..(long story..)
But, what I have flown of it, here is my opinion:
- it flies really nicely, can fly pretty quick without flutter. Slow flight is also good, but with my Saito 80 I couldnt get it slow enough (without it stalling) to elevator or do really good harriers. Hovering was very easy, depending upon the engine will torque roll fine (my 80 with a 13-6 was very torquey). The loops inside and out were excellent and tight, but pull too much elevator and it would snap out. Mind you my throws are pretty much maxed out.
As a fun fly/3D plane, it is a good start but I think (with the 80 saito) it is too heavy for most of the tricks.
I am putting my 80 back onto it for next season, and hopefully will fly it a lot more.

thanks i was wondering, because one of my friends owned one and he said it wasnt any good.. but through my experiences its really nice to fly.. ive gotten it to do harrier and made a few guys start sweating that were watching it cause i was only about 3 feet off the runway 8) hahah and when that plane stalls it stalls theres no room for error but however i found it would do moderatly fast recoveries. boy was that a fun flight.... you know one of those "im invinsible and can do anything" moods 8)

Yeah Jason, thats what I found trying to harrier too. It would suddenly drop its nose FAST! But withthe saito 80, it was ridiculously overpowered and you could push the throttle and climb like a rocket.
It is a great plane though. I think for $195 its a good deal. Its certainly built well IMO. Just the motor mount plates (as you discovered ) are no good. But thats easy to fix with either some plywood or a piece of 1/8 fibreglass sheet (G10, like the rc car guys use for the chassis or some heli parts are made from it)

were could you buy this g10 fiberglass?? what kind of store would carry it?

DOnt know where Jason. I had a bunch left over from when I was cutting heli frames as a college CNC machining project.
I would just use 1/8 aircraft ply, and if you are worried laminate a layer of 6 ounce glass cloth and epoxy (or thin CA) on either side.
Trust me it will stand up!

but how does the ply hold up better than the stock aluminum??? is it just its vabration dampning qualities?

Because the aluminum they use is a crappy grade of alloy. It cracks due to vibrations.
Plywood has been used in countless models (before your time :) ) for mounting an engine.

i bet theres some real brains working on thier team eh! "lets use really crappy aluminum that will break if you use a fourstroke on it" and everyone will love it.haha . before my time eh? whats that supposed to mean (j/k) :)

Hi I was wondering if a plane like the hangar 9 pizazz would be a good second or third plane.I have heard only good things about it.I have a os 4 stroke .80 in mine when I bought it.

I would say yes. I found it to be a very easy and forgiving plane to fly. I had a lot of fun with it.
