Hi Guys
Hope flying is still good in your area.
I am in the final stages of building an ultra spadstik 40. Its a cross between a few ideas I've seen. but something I just realized is I built a symetrical wing and I haven't really seen a symetrical wing on stiks. am I creating a problem?
will the wing incidence be different?

PS will get pictures and flight report asap

Mine is fully symetrical and it flies great! I had to shim the wing a little (I think it had a bit of negative incidence in it) because it didn't want to take off. :) Now it works wonderfull but it's a little heavy (lightly loaded but needs more power). It is currently hanging on the wall of my shop waiting for a .60 to go on it. Then it should be a sweet. I say go for it!

with ALL my designs, that have symmetrical wings, (about 4 or 5) I set up the wing and stab and engine at 0-0-0 degrees. That way they fly just as well inverted as upright. No sweat!

:D :D :D :D cant stop grinning. What an awesome flying plane. Even though it is 6.5 lbs it performs excellent crisp maneuvers , quick roll rate. very stable in slow flight. it was so windy today I could put the flaps on and fly backwards.
overall: very excellent plane, would recommend it to anyone.
On to the next project.

Are there plans for this plane online?

Hi Recon,
just go find all the plans for sticks (including the commercial plan). then incorporate the things you want into the one your building. I like to experiment so generally I don't follow the plan exact anyway.
