Demographics are at work here too........its a graying hobby/sport and a sizable % of the faithful are retired or dont report to a regular job. This will tend to grow medium term since our activity is one that appeals to boomers who are now starting to retire in force with lots of $.
Also shows how many people use a computer at work on a regular basis....

Im on the board with MAAC so I certainly work, but I did manage freedom fifty seven too,so I dont have to go to a salt mine every day either.
I was in HR for the last part of my working career so I am familar with the stats, and we have had to take a look at whats happening with the membrship of the MAAC orginization too which resulted in the abolition of the senior discount since it was getting to be such a large % of the membership, for example.
The real growth problem for all specialty leisure time orginizations has to do with so many available avenues all competing for the same kids.Everything from little league baseball to scouts are feeling this shift.
In our sport graying is causing other unexpected directions, the rapid growth of ARFs for example.
Well I'm not surprised that this forum is groing since it's so darned user friendly :TU:
As for posting during the day, it's no surprise for me since almost everyone is on a computer at some point during the day, and besides, it beats having to talk to people who JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND US R/C GUYS!!!

If we get 100 users on at one time I bet we will have total gridlock, unless Jasons ISP has lots of bandwidth. How about it Jason, how high can we go??
