Who said the "greenhouse effect" is a bad thing!? What a beautiful day to fly today! Never would have guessed that Dec 28th is a good day to fly jets! Little bit of a breeze and I think our high hit around 8 or 9 degrees.
I was thinking there might have been more guys show up on a nice day like this but that was not the case. We had the skies to ourselves!

Fun in the sun today eh!... Myles had his Roo and I had my MB339 burning the kero and perfect winter weather +5C and sunny, so it felt closer to +10C. If this weather holds for the rest of the week I think we might just be in luck and get some more flying maybe squeezed in??? Sorry about pic quality these were taken from some video footage. Just look at that weather

Afternoon All

We came out of indoor flying and in the parking lot we looked at each other ...what the fxxx are we doing here. The sky was clear, no wind, snow all gone.

Guess who will win the first flight of 2004? The turbine should be awsome at 00h00m01s.

Cheers

Sounds like a challenge for "2004 First Flight Award"
:D
Today was actually warmer than yesterday but started to spit a little rain later on in the day! No flying today though, had to spend all the Home Depot gift certificates we got for Christmas! Wahooooo!

With the warmer weather I reckon those gift certificates could come in real handy to buy some extra kero mate!
