Hay Nony,is that a TRACKED I see in the back ground of the P-38? The 38 is spectacular but how about some of the Tracker as well and some info on both of them.Like who are the builders, size, material and power.

It bears more of a resemblance to and Grumman Albatross.

In that mall show picture, there's something that looks suspiciously like a Starbuck-like coffee cup floating a couple centimeters above ground. Right next to the floats.
sorry guys..had to go to work today...
RCFCBC is the biggest RC Club in the Vancouver area - if not all of BC. They have a web site (check out the photo gallery for more..) that can be accessed through the MAAC links......
Not surprised that there would be a Starbucks there in coffee center of Canada.....
That is an Albatross in the background...both are a product of a secret place known as "The Skunk Works". The builders are John Schmidt, Walter Moller and Cliff Oswald with support from many others in the form of free advice and donuts ...
heh heh I just noticed the coffee cup....maybe the '38 has its own gravitational field.... :)

no problem...all I did was resize the photos and post them. Those Alberts are very imposing in flight. They have flown two of them at the same time....and I think that a third one may be flying by spring (but don't quote me)

Nony, I talked to Jerry on Sunday and Ted's Albatros is in the paint phase now, Chalk Airlines colours, working 7 days /7hrs. per getting all the stripes etc. done. Shouldn't be too long, just would need the radio gear and bolt on the motors.
So SHOULD be 3 of them at Shuswap flying event, I don't know if the Spring or not- I'l ask Jerry if he is at the Mall Show on Sunday.
Bart
I thought that they would be at the Spring flyin if it was anywhere close to finished.....
That will be sooooo cooool !

Re: "In that mall show picture, there's something that looks suspiciously like a Starbuck-like coffee cup floating a couple centimeters above ground. Right next to the floats." I dug out the original pix, I had reduced res. to send it to Nony, and found out that the paper coffee cup is sitting IN a clear plastic cup, thus creating the illusion.
Good catch.
Bart
good illusion !!!! you might have sold it to National Inquirer!!
This will knock your socks off!! I just got this photo from rcbart...
