whic would you recommend for a 3d plane, gws 350 d gearing with 3d lipo 750 mah or 1200 mah and will a pixie 7 esc work for this?

Most people I know use 1200mAh 3S1P 11.1V LiPo packs with the GWS EPS-350/300 power systems. A 12 X 6 prop is a good choice (6.6:1).
I recommend a heat sink. You must know that this power system is rated 8.4V and that a 3S1P pack is 11.1V ... throttle management. If you're always flying full throtle, the motor may die prematurely.
A 7A ESC is not enough.
For example: 8.4V + GWS EPS-300C-D + 12 X 6 prop -> 8.5Amps.

The ESC rating of the motor is 15A.

Go for a nippy black if you would be willing to put in the extra $20-30 because thay are direct drive and you proboly will end up spending somewhere close to the $ difference betwwen the 2 motor with the gearbox.

Chris,
if you're going to go brushless, check out the Typhoon 6 and Tsunami combo at Oilman's shop:
http://www.oilmanelectricrc.com
I flew mine for the first time last night and I am amazed at the power of that little motor.
If you want to stay brushed, I have one of these: http://www.easternmodelsupply.com/proddetail.php?prod=stmotor
with a castle 20 I've only used for 3 flights I'd let go at a good price.
PM me if you're interested.

Go with the 4100 if you are running 3 cells, the 5400 works better if you are running 2 cells.
The 5400 on 3S is up around 15amps on a 12x6, considering those cells are at best 7C you are going to hurt them running 15 amps for too long. The 4100 will be down around 10 amps on that setup and your batteries will be much happier.
I have the 5400 on 2 cells, its really nice for indoors but could use some more punch outdoors, although its still good fun :)

Depron USA will ship to Canada. I purchased 3x6mm + 3x3mm + 3x2mm sheets and it cost me $15 shipping + $10 duty + cost of the Depron. They had originally quoted me $25 shipping, but they changed it on me without even asking :D .

Hi All,
Got myself a GWS Plying Pizza with its stock power system, not quite sure what it is but with Thunder Power 860 MAH lipo setup it does do 3d in a weird slow motion fashion. The thing will hover and climb out of the hover for about the first 3 to 4 minutes of flight then its just hover and flop out of hover for the about next 10 minutes which is about when its time to land and change batteries. I tried the 2 cell 1500 mah Kokam but it won't hover with that pack and the 3 cell just makes the little old Electrifly 10 amp ESC shut down, guess its just to much for it. I've just received a Plantraco receiver/ESC and will pop that into the thing and test it with the old WHATT meter. If the draw is within the 12 amps its supposedly good for then I'll try the 1500 kokam outside totomorrow
