G26 gasser or equivalent

Im looking for a good engine that could fly my 1/4 scale cub from sig.
It is light enough since i used iron on covering rather than the silk and dope. I tryed converting a wead eater but cracked the intake manifold that holds the carburator. Does anyone have something that might fit???

Jessy.. did you build the Clipped or Full Wing.. and what weight is it without your engine? I too have this kit and will be fitting a G23. Did you use Monocote or Ultracoat?

I fly my ¼ scale sig cub full wing on weels skis and floats with a OS 91 Four stroke 15X6 prop works great but scale flight

I have the Full Wing Kit.. but plan on clipping. The Full Wing Version comes with a 2 pc. wing, and this is better for me for transport. I have the G23, which should be ok for power, the 26 would have been better. I definetly want to try Gas... this will be my first Gasser.

I broke the stupid carburator intake mount on the weady... :oops:
the other one is cliped version and paint job, it weigh a ton... :(

I have a ryobi not sure the engine size, may be a 23 or 26. it has very little compression left. I'm thinking of buying another wallmart special ryobi weedeater and using the cylinder and piston to rebuild it...but the weady is in perfect condition exept for the manifold to carb adaptor. would like to know if anyone has something that might fit it.
