clutch question

my clutch is making a rather loud ting noise when its at certain rpm mainly low rpms... it also does this during start up. i think one of the reasons its doing this is because the idle was too high during starting one time and i had tio hold the blades so the thing wouldnt start choppin everything to pieces boy did it get hot. anyways this is a raptor 60 and im wondering what i can do to get rid of the noise

Sounds like you smoked the clutch liner off. Have you taken it apart and looked a the liner? I would say it need a new one.
