I am patiently awaiting the arrivel of the Shock Flyer I ordered yesterday! I hope it comes next week I will have a full building thread!

Hi Chris

Forget the Etec cells, get some Apogee 830's from Zebra. You will get as much performance out of them as the Etec's but they are lighter (as they are only 830 instead of 1200). We fiddled with some Etec 1200's and they would only dump around 800-900 mah of their capacity before they started to lose performance. The Apogees will dump around 95% before they start to slow down.

Yeah you may have had an old e-tec i heard there was a problem with them but i have a new one anyways I am going to be ordering a kokam 340mah 2s and 3s pack!

Andrew, I already had the electronics all i did was order a shocky :-p but I got the money because I'm painting the house...1/2 now 1/2 later

i canceled my order for the shock flyer wiht great hobbies, and odered from hobby wholesale as they have em in!!

Got my shocky today all looks good and I'm gonna be starting on her tomorrow!
