View Full Version : How to do a harrier ?
Does anyone know how to set up your radio properly to do harriers. are you supposed to use the ailerons mixed in with flaperon mix. Are you supposed to use ailerons to turn the aircraft in a harrier or the rudder. I got a few different answers from several people but I don't know what is correct.
Thanks
Mike
Mike, there is good info from Mike Mconville at the Horizon web-site on how to do all the 3-D manuevers.
To do the Harrier, you need about 45deg up elevator throw. Some guys have both ailerons slightly raised as well. You control altitude with throttle, forward speed with elevator, and steer with rudder. Use the ailerons only for keeping your wings level.
