Both sites are great Ron. Thanks for sharing.
I downloaded a couple of the pictures and will print them out in photo quality. Would you like me to do one for you? I would be pleased to do that for you Ron!

I went to the web site and then clicked on

how could someone do this to a MUSTANG???
it is not my favorite plane but even I would not do this
It's all about sponsorship dollars to keep these expensive hobby items flying (sound familiar ?? ) At least the pilot does not have to look at it while he is flying !

yes he does if he ever looks out over the wings!!!
SICK!!!
I haven't perused the mustangsmustangs site for a couple of years, but last time with the help of my father-in-laws log book, I found that 7 of the P-51's he flew, are still alive and kicking - including the one in the national Aviation museum in Ottawa....

" its all about sponsorship dollars to keep these expensive hobbies flying"
Does this mean I have to put my wifes name on the fuse and on the wingtips of all my R/C aircraft...
That depends on the terms you negotiated in your sponsorship deal, Darren :D :D :D
Most corporations insist on visible positive exposure......

Briefly during ww2 442 squadron flew P-51's.......most of them were post war hand-me-downs from the USAAC....however it was considered the very best detererrent for the perceived post war threats pending the introduction of a viable jet fighter. And that was the Sabre...and as you are aware, our Sabres were much better than anybody elses !!!!
