Looking for one of those foam plane stands like a Robart in good condition. Can trade an 049 engine or purchase.

or you could make one: get a 4x8 sheet of that pink/blue foam from rona, cut four pieces to shape.

glue two together. glue the other two together. cut four holes and use the free slats that you picked up from rona at the same time for the cross bracing.

only the cost of the foam and bob's your uncle, its done.

polyurethane glue will hold the foam together as well as the cross braces.

that is, if no one offers you a trade.

it make not look as nice as "bought" ones but it sure does the job.

Yes, I could do that if I wanted big styrofoam sheets in my house.
I suppose there would be lots of room if I didn't have any planes.
But, then............I wouldn't need the stand
Baffling I know.
KSurprised no one wants a new free engine. Could be the heat.

well duh. after you cut it to fit, you don't have any big sheets left. in fact, you only started with one. you end up with none.

just trying to help.
