That's easy. It's the "e".

Hehehe.

For helis, the "e" stands for electronic mixing in your TX. The links to the swash (for Cyclic-Collective Pitch Mixing) can be simple if mixing is done electronically. A heli can have the mechanics to mechanically mix but it requires a more complicated mechanism.

Each method has its good and bad points. I wouldn't worry about the type used for a particular heli. The quality of the design and how well the heli is set up are more important...
