Well I took my rappy out for some hovering this morning. Burnt one tank and decided to go for another(she was working great!). When I was fueling up I brushed the boom braces and I thought one moved. So I rechecked and gave it a wiggle felt nothing  . So I fired her up and put it into a little hover "POP" one of the braces came off and was dangling there. I was about to freak out. It started shaking a little then when I tried to land the thing got caught in the ground. I almost crashed . But I punched it before she smacked the dirt and hovered it well I thought about the situation. What I did was touched the strut down easy then slid the chopper forward in a 1-2 foot hover. When the strut moved back under the bird I dropped her and cut all power. It worked :D :D :D !!!!! No crash I have a picture of it just after it landed.[/i]

Whew.. that was close. I had a similar situation with my EVO50 month ago while I was in the air, boom support came off, luckily someone spotted something dangling under the heli.. I brought it down, lands like a plane forward slide, sure gave me a good scared, I was doing flipping and flopping :P good thing someone caught it just in time, else that would have been a disastrous result if I would have rolls the heli..
