Hi I am trying to figure out what kind of 3 blade prop to use with a DA-100. Ill be using it in my Hostetler 26% cessna 182. I see some of them are listed as "quiet". I would like to have a prop that gives that real airplane sound so you hear the engine noise in addition to the prop wash. An example of what I am talking about - my ST-G-90 gives that sound off with a 13x8 2 blade, but when I size down to an 11 or 12" prop all you hear is the engine. I havent tried a 3 blade on it yet (I will tomorrow) but I imagine it will sound pretty good.

I guess it would help to know the prop size...
24x12 to 26x12

Myself and Randy use a Biela 26/10 3 blade .It is a great choice for the DA 100.

Well, does it have that prop noise to it???? Thats what I am trying to find in a prop. The only ones I can find listing anything about noise in their specs is "quiet". I dont want "quiet" :D

If you want prop noise you'll have to have a bigger diameter and less pitch so you're stuck with a 2 blade
