Interesting title no? Heh, anyhooooo here is the gig. I was out at the flying feild filling up, went away for awhile and yes a pool of nitro under my Rappy, it had to go I guess. I took it out, into the sink it went and one of the "----" heh on top right sprung a leak. I know on the 60 and 90 (or at least I beleive) they have o-rings. Looking at this it would seem using o-rings would put too much pressure onthe sides of the tank itself. I am also thinking that silicone or rubber stuffola may not do it either. Is there an aftermarket tank system or a fix for the R50 I am unawarre of??? Or do I just have to stock these darn tanks!!!!!!???

Take some silicone and coat the 30/50 tank ---- before installation, coat the positioning slots/indents too. This will prevent chafing. You could put a piece of double sided foam over the ---- in place of the silly seal. Both methods work and I've yet to ruin a fuel tank.

The R60 and R90 have O-rings but with a pressurized system (YS) the tank sides may chafe on the sideframes as the tank is blown up. A similar process is to fill the grooves in the rear plastic frames with two layers of velcro tie-raps cut to size with the furry side out.
