I'm assembling a 60 size ucandu. Is the stock CG all right for all round flying or does it need to be moved farther forward like my Funtana 90.

I noticed that nobody has answered your question
on this thread and it has been posted for a while.
I have a Funtana 90, but have not flown it yet,
therefore can not give you a definate answer
to your question.
I have put together and flown the UCD 46 size
and the stock CG is fine. Also have a Funtana 40
and the stock CG is fine.
I do had a question as to why you needed
to move the CG forward on your Funtana 90?

just noticed this thread tonight. I have a ucandu 60 with a saito 1.00 and I knocked the landing gear right off the thing twice so I reinforced it with a 1/8 th piece of plywood on each side of the fuse and added a plywood block about 3in. by the width of the fuse for the landing gear to screw into and I made new landing gear wider and thicker than the original. All together I probably added about 7 or more oz. of weight and I never checked the C of G. Now I don't worry about rough landings anymore and it does'nt seem to fly any different. ken
