Hey all I have a OS FS70 S that I am going to put on my V-MAR Cap. My question is this is the fist engine I will mount on my own and want to make sure I do it right. Also this is my first 4 stroke and I want to make sure that I position it in the easiest running position. Ok first question

1.Although the manual says there should be a thrust line on the firewall there is not how do I decide where this is?

2.I think I would like to mount this engine at inverted or 9 o-clock so that the exhaust gets away from the plan but if I did this would I run into a balance issue right to left? If so how would I correct this?

Well I think that is it thanks for your help guys.

You wouldn't like the hastles inverted. On its side is fine. Biggest concern is putting the carb barrel 1/2 in above the centre of the tank so you don't have fuel draw problems.
