I am trying to decide on a winter/ 3d basher. I can buy a friends rtf funtana 90 and just plug in my rx for $400 that only has a handful of flights or get a mojo. I have all the components for a mojo. I can't decide yet. I have a eflite yak for profile action and I am buying a yak shocky for indoor /culdisac flying. What would you do?

Since you already have a plane similar to the funtana 90, (extra 260) the choice is really easy Mojo 60, with removable wings depending on your mode of transport. There are several of us flying Mojo 40's at our field and they are simply amazing. No other profile matches these babys. the 60 size is apparently even better. hard to believe. My big planes stay at home many times in favor of the Mojo. Join the profile brotherhood.

seeing as I have an os50 fx kicken around I would get the 40size.
Ok guys, call me "outa touch", but what the heck's a "Mojo"??

This is an amazing profile, as much fun as you can have without being in bed.
Thanks Skate.
I got a .46 sittin around gathering rust, this plane looks like fun.

I just maidened a mojo with a Saito 82. ballistic. It looks like it'll be really nice after sometime. The engine is still breaking in and is currently vibrating the ---- outta her.
but i had it hovering on my first try. its looks to be a real fun plane
For 2 strokes, ppl have been using 50 sized engines or the OS 46AX and have had pretty good luck.
The webra 50 is supposed to have the best power to weight ratio for this plane.

I got the ARF. its well covered and well finished. But the kits are much cheaper and can be covered the way u like. I dont have the time to build the kit.
are u going to build it?

I will probably get the arf because everything I try to cover ends up looking like arse
If I can find someone to cover it I would get the kit. I enjoy building and having control over the way it's built. I am sure these are very well built but I would rather do it myself. In the end I am will probably get the arf

the OS 50 FX will rock this plane. U can order the arf at billy hell Rc.
Hez a nice guy to deal with. will go out of way to help. super smooth transaction. Just give him a call and the plane will be at ur door step in a week or so.
I had it shipped to one of my friend in the US. I needed it shipped quickly as her plans to come to visit finalized at the last moment. So I ordered on monday afternoon, and it was at her doorstep at 8:00am on wednesday
And whats more, he didnt charge me anything extra to ship it by "One day dhl delivery" :D
post a flight report when u get it up. I've got mine up only twice so far, and the engine is being a bitch to me. vibrating too much. hoping it'll calm down.

Hillmanr2:
I just finished reading a review in the June issue of 3D Flyer describing a new profile ARF, the Bad Boy V2 from Precision Aerobatics. This might be a nice model to consider - 54" wingspan, nice landing gear (aluminium or carbon fibre - not the simple wire type that comes with the Mojo), lots of carbon fibre pieces and plug-in wings. All for $159.00 U.S. - 30 bucks less than the price of the Mojo. Just a thought.
I realise that this is a newer aircraft, but does anyone in this forum have experience with it? Is there a North American distributor for Precision Aerobatics? The review certainly makes it sound nice.

I talked with a guy at Ohio model planes and he told me that the Badboy V2 hovers extremely well. he said, one could even leave the Tx sticks and let it t-roll by itself if balanced well. also that it 3Ds like in slow motion.
Its price is 160US which is much cheaper than the MOJO (not just 30$). i say this becoz the badboy comes with a complete hardware kit unlike the mojo.
i dont know where it was, but i did read some downsides bout the badboy v2 that lured me away from it. will look for it.
