What brushless motor for an Ultrafly BAE Hawk?

Hi guys! anyone ever fly this pusher on a brushless setup? If so, what did you use and what size prop?

Can anyone recommend a brushless motor for this type of plane (pusher jet). I read that it should pull about 18amps on a 6x5 prop. I'm hoping to find an outrunner that can do this. Any thoughts or other recommendations?

Hi Leafy,

Checkout justgofly.com they have a great selection of motors at reasonable prices. with lots of tables for prop., battery , motor selection amp draws thrust and speed.
Lots of info to help or confuse lol. Let us know what you choose and how it flys, thats a sweet looking plane.
