OS 50 or 55 or whatever the newest greatest one is
prop 13x4
I have an os 50 that I use in profiles on occasion or more precisely between smashing them to hell  . It is an awesome little glow engine

My Saito 72 is good but not great on my Funtana x-50 I'm running an APC 13x4W prop. It'll hover, climb out, but I think the 82 has additional power and is perhaps even lighter. 4 stroke for sure!

In my showtime 50 I use the saito 91 with a 13-4W prop. It will hover at just over half stick, unlimited vertical. Perfect engine for this plane.

I'd have to agree...Saito .91 or 1.00 would be the best matchup. I know it's large, but it balances the plane perfectly, and has unlimited power. The ST just fies better on the 1.00.
if you don't want a 4 stroke, look at the OS 75 AX. Would be a great match.

Which balances the 50 the best 91 or 100....What do you think would be the best ?????? I might as well put the weight in engine not lead!!!

Deleted, re-read your post.
after thinking about it a bit more, perhaps this engine would be better suited: http://www.aircraftinternational.com/catalog/motors/3w684i_b4/3w684b4_top_front.jpg

But in all seriousness, you will want nothing under a Saito 82A if you want unlimited vertical. I wouldn't hesitate to go with the Saito 100 as the Showtime is somewhat heavier than the competition (Great Planes Reactor, etc)....but....if your going to spend all that money on a Saito 100, for the extra 80$, you might as well get the Showtime 90 and a Saito 125. (this is assuming you don't already have the Showtime 50)
