OK, how about this, my motor is a 540 which means "can size " right ?
So will any 540 motor fit into my mighty bull ? and does my speed controller matter if i stay with a 540 ?
thanks...total newbie here ..

Yes, any 540 motor will fit your truck! Is the esc a TEU-101BK? If so, Tamiya specs. say it is good up to a 23 turn motor. I would change the esc they are not that great in my opinion they will not handle it.
Try to purchase NIMH batteries over Nicad, and buy a peak charger.
If you would like me to give you some suggestions let me know.
Good Luck

Yah.. what would be a good speed controller and motor . I would like more speed but also good holeshot power. I was looking at trinity motors like the P2K2 pro stock and the monster horsepower stock pro (27T). I think my current 540 is 30T so would a 27T be a noticeable power jump ?
