Clearly you are not a devotee of RC Modeler Magazine.

Tom Mountjoy did that plane and had the plans published in RCM back in January, 1977.

How long have you been around anyway?

Here's a link to the plans description with a pic:

Thanks to all who helped out, this info is greatly appreciated. To Do335 I have been around a long time, back in 77 I had been married for just under a year, was between emplyers in the aviation business, was just trying to keep us in accomodations and groceries,so RCmodeler magazine was not a staple. Ihave quite a large number of them from later on, but times were pretty lean in 1977. Thanks for asking..it's good to jog the old brain cells from the past. Gerry

Hi Gerry:
This was my version of the SeaBee built from RCM plans.Unfortunatly it was very heavy and not very scale like.On the water it just plowed the nose under when power was applied.
It was sitting on the stand on a boat house when the wind blew it onto the deck. The fuselage snapped in half an it was thrown out without ever being flown.
I then drew my own plans for a new one but never finished it.Maybe someday.

This rigmarole will take you to the RCM plan you may be looking for. Check your PMs for the magazine construction article.
Edit: Just remembered - may have an ancient construction article if you're interested, not full size plans but enough info to draw up your own.
Seemed to have uses an Ohllson 23 on ignition and free-flight - that will gve you a clue to how old the article is! Heavily undercambered wings, by golly!

Hi
I am also a Seabee fan and have a set of RCM plans enlarged. I was going to use them to assist me with completing the 22% Fiberglass fusalage that I have. There are also excellant 3 view drawings available. Probably the best Seabee site for information is www.republicseabee.com/ This is the Seabee owners site.
The many modifications available to the Seabee will also make the model fly and handle better the same as the original. The engine and cowling mods also make it easier in a model. The wider cowling for the Lycoming 280 and 360 will allow a 50 cc revaloution engine to lay on it's side and still fit in the cowling. The Revoloution will also help with the C of G with it's long crankshaft. I could keep going.
Cheers
Clive
