Anyone aware of a larger scale Bucker? (~25cc gas or 1.50 - 1.80 glow)

From what I can see, it doesn't appear that anyone is producing one or that anything is available.

Would love for Great Planes, Hanger, etc to produce one of these.

Thinking of a larger version of the Goldberg Bucker Jungman. Closest I can find is the Great Planes Super Stearman.

Just can't beat the swept wing of this Bipe.

Thanks,

GB

Thinking of a larger version of the Goldberg Bucker Jungman.GB

FWIW, I believe that Goldberg Bucker would probably be the right size for a 1.50 -1.80 glow.

I hava a GP Giant Aeromaster, which is only about 72" wingspan and it uses a 60cc engine. It is not overpowered.

If a Jungmeister will do - and you just can't beat a big, fat radial engine - MAN has plans avialable in several size by Gary Allan for that plane. I understand that the 1/3 size plan was withdrawn since the master was lost or destroyed during a move. My underatnding is that the 1/6 and 1/4 sizes are still available. Of course, it requires building.

Thanks DO335,

I currently have a Goldberg Bucker that is need of recovering and was hopeful that there was something out there in an ARF kit.

I'm not familiari with "MAN"? for Gary Allen. This option looks interesting. Do you know how I can find more information?

Are you pleased with the GP Areomaster?

Thanks,

GB

Be careful with any of the 1/3 Jungmeister Gary Allen plans that were scaled down to 1/4 etc. There are a bunch of conversion errors, and in fact the 1/4 version is even missing the whole lower wing center section!
So be prepared to busk around it and work a bunch out as you go.

Thanks for the responses guys.

As it turns out, even the GP Giant Areomaster ARF is no longer available. Called GP today.

May end up going to an Ultimate if nothing else is around.

Unfortunate.......

Thanks again,

Going Ballistic....are you looking to purchase a large scale Bucker..??

I have an 84" version that is from a Pilot kit (these are rare birds from what I understand), and is very well put together. I was thinking of selling it.

Let me know what you have in mind.
