Hey guys,
Just checking to see if anyone has built and flown the GWS B-2 Bomber, the twin 55 mm edf one. Someone made a small prop one years ago. I just finished mine, upgraded slightly with Hoaye EDF units and Turnigy brushless and twin 25 amp ESC and a three cell lipo. It'll nearly lift out of my hand when held straight up which is kinda neat.
Instead of the little plastic wheels, I am using skids made from 1/16" wire. It'll keep the servos from being the first things to scrape the ground when landing on pavement.
Just wanted to know if the CG is where it is indicated in the manual and that the throws are sufficient.

I have the Megatech B2 and it flies very well. Hope yours does too.

I love the B2 but i had bad luck with the GWS stock setup so the plane didn't last long, it did inspire me to build this though http://www.rcuvideos.com/video/10FootB22-wmv

That is a big plane. I favor electric myself, the noise, the noise :oha::oha:
My B2 is a pusher and i've got planes to convert it to a ducted fan with a brushless motor.

That is why i fly at the club on river road, i do have electrics for the field in the backyard but i don't think i trust flying a B2 that big in the backyard anyways.

Mine is maybe 1/4 the size if yours and my back yard has a track and field area. I find that not big enough. I've been by the RC Club and found it to be not so big of an area. On the video it looks a lot bigger.
Would you be interested in selling your GWS B2.

My GWS B2 no longer exists as mentioned in the post above, i do have plans though for the shape and correct CG for the B2 if you are interested, the fuse and engine pods are up to you.
