hey guys
I work in film and have a documentary shoot coming to town. I cant remember to guy I used last time I needed a helicopter so I figured I might look on this forum
Ideally I can find a person with a helicopter or knows where i can rent one I plan on shooting out the side door (door off camera guy rigged in)
anyone interested please let me know or if you know anyone please let me know
Thank you in advance
and it is not a big budget shoot

Would you be able to use a RC helicopter AV rig? If you are in YYZ there are guys around that can help. What altitude? How small is your bugget? Full scale machine cost BIG BUCKS.

Give us some more details.

well
budget is relative i guess I have used full scale before for shoots and have an idea of the cost

heli to boat in open water so was thinking more to full scale for flight time and so im not to tied to the land i would love to be lower the 500 feet but am fine with sitting around that height with a full scale

i am not adverse to the rc thing but would need to know what your carrying ,max flight time etc also cost per hour or what ever and possibly demo footage

Call Dave Tomasini at Four Season Aviation, located at Downsview Airport in Toronto.

He's got a Ranger for open door shooting; I've used it several times.

If you have a little more money, you can rent his a-star with a gyron head or Cineflex HD head, which will probably get your best results.
