Re: A million dollar opportunity to buy and save Air Canada's B762 aka Gimli Glider n Well that's ur love of aviation and perspective of you guys but not mine and I can speak for lots of others who have worked on this aircraft or been around big airliners who want it preserved for many years. Lets see what happens in April with it. There are many other factors that also needs to be considered by buying party being it US or Canadian if its bought as airworthy aircraft for it to fly out to its permanent home, its also possible some company buys it to make money by parting it out, we'll see what happens.....I wanted to let you all know about its availability and that's about it as many think, it had already been scrapped, which is obviously not the case with 604. |

I'd think donating a million bucks to keep our current museums bills paid would be a better investment. "wrap it around some Alexander Keith's and put on ice." +1 Or buy it and turn it into a homeless shelter/soup kitchen! |

Start us off Sammy with a 999,999 dollar donation and I'll chip in a buck. |
