Re: need help with tri-copter build

Sorry guys,
my gyros came undone after the flight and I stuck them on incorrectly for the photo shoot (in the video they are correct orentation)
The problem I noticed was that the frankencopter was yawing to the right and if I continued to add more throttle(pitch) it would have corkscrewed it self into the clouds.Emdry did point out a valid point that my throttle curve was at 0 thus having no yaw gyro gain.
Thinking it thru whilst I slept and tell me if I am out to lunch, but if all the ESC's did not calibrate 100-0 would that explain why one motor (front left) would not shut down after landing and returning throttle stick to off? Would this aslo cause excessive yaw? I will try one thing at a time when I have time this weekend and let y'all know. Thanks for help thus far

Welcome to RC Canada busybuilder!
It's usually easiest to upload your photos right into your post for the guys to see.
Good shots in your album though... https://www.rccanada.ca/rccforum/album.php?albumid=126

Hey eye in the sky I guess you dont use HEFA anymore?
Still around for most part. Did you post over on HEFA? I'm down south for the week

Post some pics of your set up. Let’s see what we can see. I will be home next week but may have another trip before Christmas.
