Wow Janos, that is very kind of you to offer that! Maybe you can meet Roger at Barry sometime I'm sure there's got to be some young pilots there that would find it a treat to fly those planes _and_ maybe then you could spend more time with them since they are closer. Just a suggestion of course.... either way, very nice of you. Wish I were a young pilot nearby . I do know some, but they are here in London.

Cheers!

Hello Janos , I am sorry to say my close friend Brian passed away a few weeks ago . There are a few fliers in parry sound but most of us drive to Barrie to fly because there are no fields currently in the parry sound area , if you can find a suitable field I would be more then happy helping .cheers Roger

Re: RC For Parry Sound Area

There is a group of us that fly a bit off of Highway 124. Dmitri does a good job at trying to keep the field cut but since it's on a farmers field the issue of the cows crapping on it is a constant issue.

Jim Bisson and I both belong to the 400 club where we fly our big planes.

It appears that there is just not enough people in this area for us to have a functional club prosper.

Anyone else since this was originally posted still interested in starting something. We obviously need some land first. Any ideas?

Turns out that the company I ordered my beaver from is out of stock. That's OK, more time to practice on the simulator. Lol
